Propellerheads Figure + UX

I know Propellerheads Figure been kicking around for a while (see the review here), but I only got whiff of this last month and have been playing around a bit with it in idle moments. I really like the clean software UX design:

Since the UI is well-lauded, it's good to see what could have been if they had not taken an alternative approach.... just think how many other apps would have a completely different breath of life with some different GUI design:

What I particularly like about Propellerheads is that they took on the UX design themselves with an understanding of the underlying application and software. It's not just a skinning exercise.
